About the role

Distribution Control Associate A medical device manufacturer seeks a Distribution Control Associate for an approximately five-month onsite contract in Goleta, California. This role supports regulated distribution operations where accuracy and product traceability are critical regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and ship product orders accurately in compliance with distribution SOPsVerify product lot numbers, expiration dates, and labeling against order documentation
  • Maintain traceability records for all distributed product
  • Receive incoming inventory and reconcile quantities against purchase orders
  • Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
  • Identify and quarantine non-conforming or damaged product
  • Maintain a clean and organized distribution area in compliance with GMP standards
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of warehouse, distribution, or inventory experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and order management systems
  • Availability for full onsite assignment in Goleta, CAPreferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or FDA-regulated distribution environment
  • Familiarity with ERP-based inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Forklift certification
