Role Description: The Construction Worker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fairbanks, AK. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with general construction activities such as site preparation, material handling, and operating basic hand and power tools. The role involves finish carpentry, flooring installation, and renovation projects, including demolition, framing, and the support of subcontractors under the direction of supervisors or lead tradespeople. Construction Workers are expected to follow safety procedures, maintain clean and organized work areas, and work effectively as part of a crew. The position may require working in varying weather conditions, lifting materials, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
Qualifications: Ability to perform general construction tasks, including basic Construction and Renovation work. Experience or aptitude in Masonry, such as brick, block, or stone work. Knowledge of Flooring installation or repair, including preparation and finishing. Willingness to perform job-related Research to understand materials, tools, and methods. Understanding of construction safety practices and ability to follow OSHA and company guidelines. Physical ability to lift materials, use hand and power tools, and work on ladders or scaffolding. Reliable transportation to job sites in Fairbanks, AK and punctual attendance. Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
