Press Operator Details: Temp-to-Hire position$ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm) Properly thread raw material through the die and each station of the machine. Operate machinery according to established production requirements and procedures. Produce quality parts that meet specified standards. Inspect parts during production to ensure they conform to quality requirements. Follow all in-process inspection procedures and work instructions. Identify and report quality issues or suspected nonconforming products. Place suspected nonconforming products on hold when necessary.
Press Operator Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred; or 13 months of related experience and/or training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing or machine-operating experience is a plus, but not necessarily required. Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete basic production reports and routine documentation. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate basic rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
