About the role

Medical Device Sales Representative — Baltimore, MDNino Med is a rapidly growing medical device company based in Chapel Hill, NC, offering uncapped earnings potential and real upward mobility for the right person. We make single-use patient positioning and securing products for the operating room — Safe-T-Secure®, the STS-Body Pad™ line, Pluma-Soft®, and Cush-In It™. Founded in 2014 and named after the founder's father, a pediatrician, Nino Med has built its reputation on products that make cases safer and easier for OR staff. What makes this territory different: our products are already through value analysis and on contract at many Baltimore-area hospital systems. You won't spend nine months fighting a VAC committee — the approval work is done. This job is about getting into the OR, getting the product in front of the people who actually pull it for a case, and turning approved accounts into reordering accounts. You will also have the opportunity to bring our products to new hospitals.
What You'll Do: Cover cases and run in-services at approved facilities across the Baltimore metro Convert accounts that are approved but under-utilized into steady, predictable reorder volume Build working relationships with OR managers, circulating nurses, surgical techs, materials management, and surgeons Maintain vendor credentialing and OR access at every facility in the territory Track activity and orders accurately so commissions and forecasts are clean Identify the next tier of facilities in the region worth pursuing once the approved base is producing
What We're Looking For
Required: 2+ years selling into hospital operating rooms — disposables, positioning, instruments, or surgical capital Current vendor credentialing (Symplr, Vendormate, Intellicentrics, Green Security, or equivalent) at Baltimore-area hospitals, or the ability to complete it quickly Comfort scrubbing in and being present for cases, including early morning starts Valid driver's license and reliable transportation — this is a drive-around territory Strongly preferred: Existing relationships at Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland Medical System, Med Star, Life Bridge, GBMC, Mercy, or Anne Arundel Experience with patient positioning, OR tables and accessories, or surgical safety productsA track record of growing accounts that were already open, not just opening new ones CompensationW-2 option: competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, with a monthly auto and phone allowance 1099 option: commission only, at meaningfully higher rates, tiered by product and by how long the account has been active — we'll walk you through the actual rate table on the first call, no games, no moving targets
Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Uncapped commission potential

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
