About the role
Social Media Influencer & Automotive Sales Trainee Are you the person who's always making TikToks, Reels or videos? Comfortable talking to a camera? Know how to make content people actually stop and watch? Arnie Bauer in Wilmington wants to talk to you. We're looking for a Social Media Influencer & Automotive Sales Trainee to help us create content, build our local following, generate leads and bring more people into our dealership. You do NOT need car sales experience. We'll teach you the cars. We'll teach you the automotive business. We'll teach you how to sell. What we're looking for is harder to teach: someone with personality, creativity, confidence and the ability to create content that gets people's attention. Your job will start with creating social media content and learning our products. As your knowledge grows, you'll begin working with customers and selling vehicles including the customers your own content generates.
Compensation: Salary + Commission
The goal? Build your own following. Generate your own customers. Sell cars. Build a career. If you're creative, comfortable on camera and think you could make car shopping more interesting than the typical dealership ad, we want to meet you. Apply to join the Arnie Bauer Wilmington team. Arnie Bauer GMC Chevy has been in business for over 80 years. We are committed to meeting the needs of our customers and community with our full selection of new and used cars, trucks, and SUVs, as well as our parts and service center.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
