About the Role:
We're looking for an Entry-Level, High-Volume Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team in Chicago. In this role, you'll manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, fast-moving requisitions — sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates through the pipeline while keeping pace with tight timelines and shifting priorities. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys talking to people all day, and wants to build a foundation in recruiting with room to grow.
What You'll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple open requisitions simultaneously, from intake through offer
- Source and screen candidates via job boards, ATS databases, LinkedIn, and referrals
- Conduct high-volume phone/video screens to assess qualifications, motivation, and fit
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates to meet hiring targets
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
- Provide a positive, responsive candidate experience at every stage of the process
- Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline volume, offer acceptance rate, etc.) and flag bottlenecks
- Support employer branding efforts and represent the company professionally to candidates
- What We're Looking For1–3 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume or agency environment
- Experience managing a large number of open requisitions or candidates at once
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable on the phone and building rapport quickly
- Familiarity with an ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Workday) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A proactive, resourceful approach to sourcing and pipeline-building
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Chicago, ILNice to Have
- Experience recruiting for a specific function (e.g., retail, warehouse/logistics, customer service, sales) at scale
- Exposure to recruiting metrics and reporting
- Boolean search or sourcing certification
