About the role
We are looking for dependable, hard-working Dishwashers who take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes. Dishwashers are an essential part of our kitchen team and help make sure our cooks, servers, and guests have everything they need for a successful shift. In this role, you’ll clean and restock dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools while helping maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. You may also assist with light prep, trash removal, restocking, and other supportive kitchen tasks as needed. At O.H.S.O., teamwork matters. We are looking for people who stay focused, work with urgency, and are always willing to jump in and help the team.
Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and smallwares Organize and restock clean items in their proper locations Keep the dish area clean, safe, and organized throughout the shift Test and monitor dishwashing equipment daily Empty trash and recycling as needed Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and surrounding work areas Assist with limited food-preparation tasks when needed Restock kitchen and service items as directed Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties Communicate clearly with cooks, chefs, and other team members Step in wherever needed to support the kitchen team
Qualifications:
Current Food Handler’s Card Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and strong commitment to teamwork Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Ability to stand and remain active for five to nine hours at a time Ability to safely bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks Willingness to help wherever needed Pay$15.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees who average at least 30 hours per week after 12 months of employment Health Savings Account with employer contribution for eligible employees Paid sick leave Paid parental leave for eligible full-time employees Free employee meal during each shift worked 50% employee discount on food and merchandise Access to earned wages before payday through our pay-on-demand program
