Pay Scale
Starting at $17-$19 per hour
Responsibilities:
Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach childrenva
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Engage with the children at their level
Track children’s progress and report to parents
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche.
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (Preferred)
