About the role

We are currently partnering with a leading PE-backed financial services firm in their search for a Director, Advisory Pricing & Strategy, a newly created role supporting a significant organic growth initiative across their advisor network. Reporting into senior leadership within the private client business, this role will set how the firm prices its advisory relationships. The core of the role is building a consistent fee framework, helping advisors grow their fee-based business, and making sure client relationships are priced to reflect the value of the advice they receive. Essential experience/qualifications required: Proven experience owning advisory fee strategy or practice management within a wealth management firm (wirehouse, regional or independent) Strong grasp of fee-based economics, including fee schedules, discounting and the move from commission to advisory relationships A track record of winning over senior financial advisors and shifting how they run their books through influence and credibility, rather than mandate Commercial confidence to guide executives on fee decisions and to lead pricing discussions when recruiting advisor teams Strong coaching and presentation skills, with experience running training sessions for advisors Significant senior experience in wealth management; FINRA licences a plus

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
