About the role
The VP & Treasurer reports to the CFO and will have overall responsibility for cash management, collateral management, funding and liquidity, banking relationships, structured finance, loan & tax equity origination and investment strategy. Collaborate across the finance, investment and operations functions and will play an integral role in the business as he/she will need to actively engage and collaborate with the Investment and Business Development teams.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees daily management of cash, debt and tax equity covenant compliance• Short & long-term cash flow forecasting• Lead role in capital structure, debt management and bond issuance to ensure the mostefficient use of the company’s capacity and borrowed monies• Analyzes and recommends potential alternative financing structures and detail their impact.• Supports M&A, development and construction activity related to treasury functions, includingfinance modeling, due diligence and treasury integration• Maintains and cultivates banking relationships and rating agency relationships• Recommends items for strategic planning• Issue letters of credit, performance bonds and guarantees• Interest rate risk management• Manages investment of excess funds• Supports investor relations• Ensures proper controls are in place for regulatory requirements, such as FBAR, SOX, FAFCAand Dodd- Frank• Responsible for Treasury reporting for the board and external financial institutions
