- The CMO will work directly with the CEO and our Investor Outreach team, taking a leading role in shaping the company's communications, public positioning and market presence.
- An important part of this position will be coordinating communications throughout the company's upcoming pre-seed and subsequent seed fundraising rounds, ensuring consistent messaging across investor communications, corporate announcements and external channels.

- Our proposed compensation structure is:1% equity allocation per executive, subject to formal agreements, vesting arrangements and the necessary corporate approvals.
- Transition to salaried executive compensation following successful completion of the pre-seed financing.
- Long-term executive involvement, with the opportunity to participate in building and scaling the company through its subsequent seed round and beyond.
- The intention is to establish the founding leadership capable of growing the company effiecently.
- The founding executives will participate in presenting the company's strategy, organisational structure and growth plans to prospective investors as part of the fundraising process.
- Successful financing is not guaranteed, and candidates should be comfortable with the initial equity-based arrangement and associated risks.
- Who we are looking for
- We are interested in experienced professionals who have:
- Previous executive, senior leadership or relevant scale-up experience.
- Experience in technology, enterprise software, AI or B2B businesses.
- An international outlook and the ability to operate across markets.
- Strong commercial judgement and an execution-oriented mindset.
- The ability to take ownership of a function rather than simply advise on it.
- Experience working with investors, building teams or scaling organisations, depending on the position.
- An interest in building a company from an early stage.
- We value actual operating experience, sound judgement and the ability to deliver over impressive titles alone.
- Why join Synapse Data Group?
- This is an opportunity to join at a formative stage of an existing technology business, rather than joining after its organisational structure and strategic direction have already been established.
- You will have the opportunity to:
- Help shape the company's executive strategy and direction.
- Take ownership of a core business function.
- Participate directly in the company's initial institutional fundraising process.
- Work alongside the CEO, other founding executives and our developing international commercial organisation.
- Help establish and lead the company's operations through its pre-seed and seed financing stages.
- Build an international enterprise AI business with meaningful long-term equity participation.
- We are looking for people who want to build, lead and grow a company, not simply occupy an executive position.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
