About the role
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience leading and executing complex automation projects across multiple control platforms. This individual will act as a technical lead supporting system architecture, implementation, and lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead automation system design and architecture decisions· Develop and review PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA code· Provide technical leadership during commissioning, startup, and qualification· Troubleshoot complex automation and integration issues· Support lifecycle management, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives· Mentor junior automation engineers
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in industrial or pharma automation· Strong hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)· Deep understanding of GMP/GxP compliance and regulated systems· Experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation support
Preferred Skills:
· MES or historian integration experience· Batch control and ISA-88 standards· Experience working with system integrators and EPC firms
