About the role
- Set up and operate precision rolling mill equipment
- Calibrate, clean, and prepare machinery for production runs
- Adjust machine settings and perform roll changeovers
- Handle, load, and feed raw materials safely
- Measure and inspect products using precision measuring instruments
- Conduct machine operation checks and troubleshooting
- Maintain production records and material tracking
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Perform other tasks as needed to further our company's goals and uphold our commitments
- Previous experience as a machine operator
- High school diploma or GEDStrong math and measurement skills
- Ability to read work instructions and process documentation
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, or similar tools
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Stand and move throughout 8-10 hour shifts
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Push, pull, bend, reach, stoop, and crouch regularly Perform repetitive tasks and visual quality inspections
