Medical Courier (3rd Shift/Overnight)

Life South Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as Medical Courier in Montgomery, AL. This position is responsible for issues related to the shipment and delivery of blood and blood components. Available Shift: Third Shift - 10:00pm to 6:30am, 8-hour shifts for 5 days a week. Weekend and on-call hours required, as necessary. Must also meet and maintain Life South driver's eligibility requirements Must be able to work a varied schedule. Some night, weekend and on-call hours are required Ability to organize and manage time effectively Excellent teamwork skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and instructions Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Must be able to do basic math, including addition, subtraction, proportion, percentages, etc. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 70 pounds, grasping and repetitive motion. Occasional stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, climbing, overhead lifting This is a full-time position. Starting salary range is $14.50 - $15.95 an hour.
