Job Description
Summary: Verify parts that are brought with proper documentation. Determine method of packing and package most effective way to protect during shipment. Print and apply appropriate labels depending on what type of customer has ordered. Place all necessary paper work inside designated boxes to close out orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Verify part number with proper documentation placed on parts. Determine customer packing requirements using the pink ticket and/or computer pack specifications. Package product adequately to protect during transportation. Print and Apply proper labels for identification. Apply appropriate paperwork to closeout out order. Move pallets or packages to shipment prep locations.

Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Mathematics: Using mathematics to solve problems. Monitoring: Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Speaking: Talking to others to convey information effectively. Writing: Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Person must be able to work with and communicate easily and effectively with employees at all levels in the plant. It is expected that the person will work when needed to insure production is met. This work can be both during the week and on weekends.
