About the role
Akkodis is seeking an entry-level Graphic/Technical Illustrator for a reputable company in the Des Moines, IA metro area! Seeking someone to produce technical illustrations using CAD, and Adobe Suite.
Location:
Des Moines, IA metro Rate Range: $21/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
What You’ll Do:
Work with engineering, service, and product safety teams to create clear operator and maintenance manual content. Update existing manuals and develop new content for small machine models. Produce technical illustrations using 2D/3D tools, photos, and CAD-based drawings. Manage small‑scope projects and collaborate with reviewers to finalize documents.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s in a technical/design field or equivalent experience. Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Frame Maker/Illustrator/Photoshop. Experience with CAD software. Mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical knowledge preferred.
