Job Title: Field Sales Business Development Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary/Pay Rate: Base up to $90,000 plus uncapped commission
Position Summary: The Field Sales BDM drives revenue by selling complex system integration solutions that connect disparate technologies (Access Control, Video, Fire Alarm, Intrusion, Audio Visual) into independent or unified, scalable architectures. This is a consultative, technical sales role requiring deep discovery, solution design collaboration, and trusted-advisor relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, and line-of-business leaders. This role is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our client base by selling our entire product line to new customers while managing relationships with existing accounts. This role requires substantial time in the field, actively engaging prospects and clients to identify needs and present tailored solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans focused on sales growth and market penetration within assigned territories.
  • Identify, pursue, and establish strong, lasting relationships with new clients through field-based activities such as face-to-face meetings and presentations.
  • Foster consultative, value-based relationships with key decision-makers at all levels.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and presentations to address client needs and showcase our solutions.
  • Partner closely with operations and other departments to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to assure all job expectations and sales goals are met and exceeded.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive approach to expanding our market presence.
  • Essential skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven field sales experience (2-5 years) with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in managing field activities.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, coupled with strong teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a high sense of urgency and drive to succeed.
