Role Description: This is a full-time remote role for a Network Engineer at Grafana Labs. The Network Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable network systems to support the organization's global operations. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring network security, and optimizing network design. Collaboration with distributed teams to ensure seamless communication and system integration is an essential part of this role.
Qualifications: Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering, with experience in maintaining and scaling complex networks Strong abilities in Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues efficiently Knowledge and hands-on experience in Network Security practices and protocols Experience in Network Design, including planning and implementing scalable and resilient infrastructure Familiarity with network monitoring tools and cloud infrastructure systems (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving incidents Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative, and globally distributed team environment
