Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate A company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate to join their team in New York, NY. This position is responsible for analyzing credit of US subsidiaries of Japanese and/or Asian companies to prepare credit bachelor's in finance, Business or Accounting, 5 years of corporate banking experience, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to speak, read and write Japanese is required. This is a full-time, hybrid position with excellent benefits, including 401k. Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate Duties-Conduct analysis and research on the performance of borrowers and parents to assess historical performance and future projections, ie. cash flow analysis, risk capital support documentation to structure deals, liaise with middle and back office for KYC purposes, and assist in drafting prescreen memos for the Credit Department.-Conduct quarterly and annual reviews of loan portfolio and handle a variety of system and procedural issues related to the borrowers such as internal grading, monthly/quarterly reporting, and other ad hoc projects.-Assist with amendments, new originations, loan closings and funding, and other credit events that may impact the borrower.-Undertake research and analytics related to specific sectors, regions or loans, and stay abreast of current market conditions.-Provide ad hoc reports for management. Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate Skills-Must have a bachelor's degree.-Must speak, read and write Japanese.-Must have 5 years of corporate baking experience.-Proficiency in MS Office.
