What You’ll Do:
As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will assist clients with daily living activities, providing both medical and non-medical support.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding)Performing light housekeeping and grocery shopping Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition Monitoring vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, temperature)Administering medications and assisting with basic health needs Scheduling medical appointments and providing transportation Offering companionship and engaging in activities Keeping accurate records of patient care and health status
What We’re Looking For:
Bilingual Hindi-Urdu High School Diploma or GEDHHA Certification RequiredCPR/FA (First Aid) Certification 1+ years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors Valid NY state driver’s license Able to lift patient in case of fall Valid Medicals Why Join High Standard Home Care?
