About the role
Marine Travel Lift Operator Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is seeking a year-round Marine Travel Lift Operator. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of Ocean Havens and join a fast-growing team in the marine industry. We are seeking someone with experience hauling, launching, and handling boats. Primary responsibilities include operating boat-handling equipment such as hydraulic boat trailers, forklifts, yard cranes, and Marine Travel Lifts. Candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting, climbing, carrying, and other physical tasks associated with boatyard operations. A strong awareness of surroundings and consistent safe work practices are required at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience hauling and handling boats Valid Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License, Class 3AExperience operating Marine Travel Lifts and other boat-handling equipment Ability to safely perform physically demanding work Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors year-round
