Position Type: Regular Full-TimeA great opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator to join a leading law firm in the New York office. The Business Development Coordinator provides business development support across designated practice areas, industry teams, and client teams, working across departmental and geographic lines to support revenue-generating opportunities. Bachelor’s degree required.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in marketing, business development, events, communications, or a related field; law firm or professional services experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across attorneys, clients, vendors, and business professionals. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to shifting priorities. Experience with CRM systems, including Deal Cloud, experience databases such as Foundation, and other business development technology platforms preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power Point. Interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies, including Harvey or similar platforms, is a plus. Interest in corporate transactions, private equity, fund formation, financial services, or related professional services industries is preferred. Willingness to travel occasionally in support of conferences and events.
Responsibilities include: Supporting pitches, proposals, RFPs, and marketing materials. Maintaining experience and matter information and assisting with rankings submissions. Supporting thought leadership, practice development, and client-facing materials. Coordinating conferences, events, attendee outreach, and follow-up efforts. Supporting CRM, relationship tracking, strategic targeting, and market research. Assisting with business plans, reporting, competitive intelligence, and special projects.
