About the role
At Inspired Living at Alpharetta, we believe taking care of our people is one of the most important things we do. We're looking for a Director of Business & People who is organized, approachable, and passionate about creating a great experience for our team members.
This role is perfect for an HR professional who loves people, problem-solving, and making things happen!
What You'll Do:
Support recruiting, hiring, background checks, and new hire onboarding.
Create a warm, welcoming experience for new team members.
Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS information, and I-9 documentation.
Administer benefits and assist employees with questions about policies, benefits, and pay.
Support employee relations, leave programs, Workers' Compensation, unemployment, and HR compliance.
Process payroll accurately and help resolve payroll questions.
Partner with leaders on hiring, coaching, performance, and employee relations.
Prepare HR communications, employment offers, and team member announcements.
Help plan employee events, celebrations, and recognition activities.
Maintain confidentiality and stay current on HR best practices and employment requirements.
What You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.3+ years of general HR experience required.
HR experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus.
Experience with payroll and HRIS systems.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Someone who is positive, dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping people!
