Job Overview: Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr Requirement/Must Have: 8+ years of Administration experience in multiple complex applications and tools. Software Configuration Management expertise. Experience administering GitLab, Artifactory, Xray, and SonarQube. Experience with Terraform and Ansible. Understanding and working knowledge of containerization on Kubernetes/Open Shift. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of cross-team collaboration. Working knowledge of different Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies. Experience configuring and managing GitLab Runners, Groups, Projects, and Permissions at scale. Available for 24/7 On-call support. Responsibilities: Execute strategic projects, optimize CI/CD workflows, and drive infrastructure modernization. Experienced the automation ecosystem including GitLab, Ansible Automation Platform, and Terraform Enterprise. Ensure robust, scalable, and secure pipelines. Harden GitLab for enterprise usage including SAML/SSO, LDAP, RBAC, and backup/restore. Design, implement, and optimize complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines using YAML best practices. Leverage Terraform, Ansible, or similar to provision and manage self-hosted GitLab and runners. Implement GitOps practices to manage infrastructure and environment configurations. Automate operational tasks and incident remediation via pipelines and scripts. Partner with application teams to onboard them onto GitLab workflows and best practices. Develop and maintain clear runbooks, wiki pages, and pipeline templates. Integrate monitoring using Prometheus/Grafana or ELK for GitLab health and pipeline performance. Implement policies and guardrails to ensure code quality, compliance, and security posture. Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD or migration-related incidents in a timely manner. Nice to Have: GitLab Certified Administrator. Recent experience administering GitLab Self-Managed. Prior software experience with build management, configuration management and/or quality testing. Experience with SCM practices including Agile, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD). Skills: GitLab. Artifactory. Xray. SonarQube. Terraform. Ansible. Kubernetes. OpenShift.
