About the role
Temporary Full-Time Nanny/House Manager Needed ASAP (Newton)A warm and welcoming family is seeking a collaborative, career nanny/house manager with experience working with neurodivergent children for a temporary full-time position lasting approximately 2–3 months. Their current nanny unfortunately broke her leg and will be recovering during this time, so they are looking for someone to begin as soon as possible. The family's 9-year-old daughter is sweet, bright, expressive, spunky, and sensitive. She will be starting a new school this fall on a partial schedule. While she is at school or spending time with her mother, the nanny will assist with household management and household tasks. Outside of school, she enjoys being a homebody and would thrive with a nanny who enjoys engaging in activities such as watching TV shows, playing video games, doing hairstyles and makeup, arts and crafts, coloring, making and editing videos, baking, learning new dance moves, putting on fashion shows, and listening to today's top hits. The child takes daily medications, so reliability, attentiveness, and strong attention to detail are essential.
Requirements:
Experience working with neurodivergent children Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Three to five professional nanny references Dependable, organized, and reliable Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Pay: $30-$35
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
