About the role

VCOM seeks a Discipline Chair for Surgery to lead on-campus surgical education, oversee clinical student training across core sites, and collaborate with faculty across campuses on curriculum updates. The role guides students toward Residency opportunities, participates in committees, and advances research in surgical education. The successful candidate will have an MD/DO, VA license, board certification in surgery, and at least 3 years of clinical experience, with a strong teaching background
