Deal Administration Manager / CLO Operations Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC or Houston, TXContract-to-Hire
Target Conversion Salary: $135K/year Target Contract Rate: Approximately $65-70/hour plus overtime Onsite 3 days a week Protiviti- end client large bankA leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Deal Administration professional to support and help lead a Corporate Trust Middle Office team focused on CLOs and syndicated loan structures. This position is ideal for a senior Deal Administrator, CLO Operations professional, Team Lead, or Manager who can provide operational expertise, mentor junior team members, and serve as a key resource for complex transactions and client requests.
Key Responsibilities: Support the administration of CLO and syndicated loan transactions. Act as a subject matter expert for deal processing and loan administration activities. Serve as an escalation point for team members and client inquiries. Train, mentor, and develop junior staff. Partner with trustees and other middle-office groups to ensure accurate transaction processing. Review operational processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency. Manage client communications and ensure timely resolution of issues. Support new deal onboarding, ongoing administration, and reporting activities.
Required Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in: CLO Administration Deal Administration Corporate Trust Structured Finance Operations Loan Administration Syndicated Loan Operations Strong understanding of: CLO structures Loan concepts and loan lifecycle Deal processing and administration Trustee relationships Systems Preferred Solvas / CDO Suite Wall Street Office (WSO)Strong candidates with comparable CLO or loan administration platforms will also be considered.
Technical Skills: Advanced ExcelVLOOKUPsFormulas Calculations Pivot Tables
Ideal Candidate: Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Strong client-facing communication skills. Ability to train and develop staff. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Process improvement and critical-thinking mindset. Hands-on operational expertise within CLOs rather than investment analysis.
