Summary:
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled multimedia designer to join our team at Client. This position blends multimedia design, live production, virtual production, 3D content creation, real-time media systems, and emerging AI-driven workflows. The ideal candidate possesses strong creative skills combined with technical aptitude in computer graphics, real-time rendering, automation, and modern production technologies. You will contribute to technical training videos, virtual production environments, and live event productions while collaborating closely with designers, editors, producers, engineers, and product teams. This role is primarily focused on post-production while also supporting studio production, live event streaming, virtual production workflows, AI-assisted content creation, and 3D content development. This is not full-time employment. It is an on-call/as-needed position through our staffing agency. A portfolio showcasing relevant work in video editing, animation, 3D content creation, virtual production, live production, real-time media development, or AI-assisted creative workflows is required.
Job Duties:
- Create and edit engaging video content for technical training purposes.· Develop 2D and 3D animations to enhance video presentations and learning experiences.· Create, optimize, and manage 3D models, environments, and assets using Blender.· Support virtual production workflows utilizing Aximmetry and Unreal Engine.· Support live productions using vMix and NDI-based video workflows, including switching, routing, streaming, recording, and multi-camera acquisition.· Utilize AI-assisted tools for content creation, asset generation, editing, workflow automation, and production efficiency.· Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies into multimedia and training production workflows.· Collaborate with designers, editors, producers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.· Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Unreal Engine, Aximmetry, vMix, and other industry-standard production platforms.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in multimedia design, media production, live production, virtual production, or a related field.· Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator.· Experience with Blender for 3D modeling, asset development, texturing, animation, and rendering.· Experience with Unreal Engine and/or Aximmetry for virtual production workflows.· Experience supporting live events using vMix and NDI-based production systems.· Fundamental computer science & coding knowledge is a huge plus due to the type of technical content we produce· Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP-based video transport technologies.· Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation, image generation, asset development, workflow automation, research, or post-production.· Strong technical problem-solving skills within real-time production environments.· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Education:
- Associate degree in multimedia design, graphic design, animation, film, media production, computer graphics, computer science, or a related field.· Bachelor degree in film, animation, media production, computer graphics, computer science, or a related discipline prefer
