About the role

This position works within our Cash & Carry store where you will work with customers on their orders for primarily food product purchases. This will require excellent customer service both in person and over the phone as you trouble shoot with customers on what they need and match with what we have available as you search for products in our computer system. Once confirmed, you will enter into the billing system, collect payment, and potentially help deliver to the customer's car. Products typically weigh up to 50 pounds, and can occasionally weigh more. Wage $16.50 Hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Job Duties: (generally listed in order of responsibility) Register Quickly and accurately scan items for customer purchase Correctly do voids and returns as needed Process payments to include credit card and cash, and ensuring the correct amounts are entered and change given May assist customers with carrying products to their car Opening and closing POS system/cash drawerCustomer Service Help customers find requested items Assist with ideas for purchases that fit their needsOther duties as necessary Product Placement: During down times will ensure that products are in the correct location, stocked, and front facing. Store Cleanliness: During down times may sweep, pick up items, and generally ensure good store presentationRequirements High school education or equivalency Strong customer service skills Basic computer skills Excellent listening and communication skill
