About the role
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Oversee operations across multiple kitchen locations as needed
- Travel to various camp locations to support and manage kitchen teams
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies
- Develop and implement creative, seasonal menus that meet guest expectations
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food sanitation standards
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to support professional growth and team development
- Manage budgets, control costs, and approve invoices
- Oversee the POS (Toast) system, ensuring accurate accounting and reconciliation of revenues
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve food service concerns professionally What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership and shift management experience in high-volume kitchens
- Experience managing multiple kitchens or food service locations
- Willingness and ability to travel to different camp locations as needed
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Experience with Toast POS (required)
- Strong skills in ordering, inventory management, and budgeting
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
