About the role
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for steel mills across the Midwest territory.
- Technical Consultation:
- Conduct site visits to "hot end" environments to identify equipment wear, campaign life extensions, and safety improvement opportunities.
- Account Stewardship:
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying requirements to coordinating with internal fabrication and engineering teams.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay embedded in the steel and power generation sectors to anticipate large-scale capital equipment replacement cycles.
- Significant experience inBlast Furnaceoperations or "Hot End" steel mill environments (working in areas where steel is molten or being formed) is highly preferred.
- Mechanical Aptitude:
- You must be mechanically inclined. While an engineering degree is not required, you must be able to "speak the language" of a machine shop and a heavy industrial plant.
- Sales Profile:
