Position Overview: Surgical pathology case sign-out (General surgical pathology, GI, GU, breast, biopsy, excision, and resection cases)Frozen section coverage Review may include screening and sign out cytopathology cases(non-gyn)Participate in internal and external quality assurance and performance improvement activities, departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as needed Work closely with the Medical Director and laboratory management team to ensure completion of cases within the required turnaround time (TAT)Direct collaboration with referring physicians
Qualifications: MD with Board Certification / Eligibility (AP/CP)NYS Medical License Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology required 3-5 years of experience preferred Compensation Up to $170,000 (commensurate with experience & subspecialty) – Based on 20 hours / week
