About the role
Collaborating with various stakeholders, the full-time Virginia Licensed Senior Water Engineer will supervise staff, manage projects, and promote innovative water treatment technologies while working remotely to enhance water infrastructure and public health.
Key responsibilities:
Supervise staff providing technical assistance to small, underserved water and wastewater utilities nationwide
Evaluate the design, costs, feasibility, and environmental impacts of proposed water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Lead business development activities, including identifying opportunities and developing client relationshipsRequired qualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in chemical, environmental, civil, or a related engineering discipline
20-25 years of progressively responsible experience in water resources management and wastewater treatment
Demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive engineering reports
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards
Knowledge of federal water and wastewater funding programs and financing mechanisms
