About the role
Providing legal counsel and support for corporate activities, the full-time California Licensed VP Contracts Counsel will manage the company's contract portfolio, oversee commercial agreements, and collaborate with executive leadership in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
Support and advise executive leadership on legal and contracting matters to align with business objectives
Oversee and manage all commercial and corporate contracts, including trademark licensing and joint ventures
Structure, draft, review, and negotiate contracts while collaborating with various departments on commercial agreements
Required qualifications
JD from an accredited law school
Membership with good standing in at least one U.S. State Bar
15+ years of legal practice experience, with in-house legal experience preferred
Proven ability to manage a high volume of legal matters and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior business leaders
