Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to join our team and support our client in the Northern VA area. As an Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

Identifying potential suppliers* Negotiating contracts* Maintaining strong vendor relationships to support organizational objectives* Analyzing market trends, assessing supplier performance, and coordinating with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs* Streamlining purchasing activities and optimizing supply chain operations

Qualifications:

2 years of experience with procurement software and/or logistics tracking tools* Familiarity with contract management platforms, supplier evaluation frameworks, and data analysis tools* Experience in managing logistics operations, overseeing shipment schedules, and resolving supply chain disruptions
