Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 13-Week Contract
Premier Rehab & Healthcare at Burlingtonis seeking a motivated and compassionate Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to join our team for a13-week contract in Burlington, Vermont .As a Travel CNA, you will provide hands-on care and support to our residents while working alongside our nursing team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered
- Vermont CNA license
- Strong communication skills when interacting with residents, nurses, and other staff
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations with tact, professionalism, and compassion
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including serving meals, feeding, ambulation, turning, and positioning
- Provide personal care, including bathing, hair care, oral care, back care, and elimination care
- Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output
- Provide routine perineal and incontinence care
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Complete daily documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when accepting different assignments
- Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion
