About the role
Finance Position This is a finance position that is responsible for salvaging, recouping and repacking products.
Responsibilities:
Assess and sort all damaged products for recouping.
Collaborate directly with warehouse management to control shrink.
Cooperate indirectly with merchandising to ensure proper packaging from vendors.
Assist with developing a reconciliation program.
Work with inventory control to assist in reducing company shrink.
Keep the area clean and neat at all times.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent preferred. Experience 1-3 months of related warehouse distribution experience preferred.
Requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- Pass employment testing
- Professional SkillsAble to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and the safety
read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Able to print and speak simple sentences.
Strong mathematical skills.
Computer skills.
Capable of applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
