About the role
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and implement manufacturing plans. Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develop and implement manufacturing plans and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build. Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements. Analyze design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions. Resolve and implement technical solutions to problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule. Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implement lean principles and technologies. Work Authorization This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person,” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, is required. “U.S. Person” includes a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Work Environment:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications:
(Required Skills/Experience)Must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET-accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, along with applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification.5+ years of engineering experience related to aerospace value stream activities, including production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
(Desired Skills/Experience)5+ years of experience in production planning, including ownership of value stream build plans. Experience with commercial aerospace systems, build plans, production testing, electrical installations, and/or aircraft interiors. Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a diverse and demanding work environment and schedule.
