About the role

Vice President of Sales – Quantum Cybersecurity Remote | Commission-only until first sale
Company Description: Qtonic Quantum Corp. helps enterprises, boards, CISOs, and security teams identify, validate, and reduce quantum-era cyber risk. We help organizations understand where cryptography is deployed, which data and systems face long-term exposure, and how to prioritize protection and migration. Our portfolio includes QScout and QScout Pulse for cryptographic discovery and continuous intelligence; QStrike for security validation; QSolve for migration strategy and advisory; and QShield for post-quantum protection of sensitive network connections. Qtonic Quantum Lab supports independent testing and vendor-neutral evaluation. Together, these capabilities turn complex security questions into evidence, informed decisions, and action.
Role Description: Qtonic Quantum is expanding its team of Vice Presidents of Sales. This is a hands-on commercial role for experienced enterprise sellers who can open doors, develop qualified opportunities, and close complex cybersecurity business. Each VP will work within an agreed account, industry, or territory scope, collaborating with fellow sales leaders and our technical and delivery teams. You will own your pipeline and client relationships, guide opportunities from initial conversation through contract execution, and connect customer priorities with the right Qtonic Quantum capabilities. Success requires initiative, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to earn trust with senior buyers. You should be comfortable building business directly while drawing on technical expertise to support evaluations, proposals, and purchasing decisions.
Responsibilities: Originate and close enterprise opportunities within your agreed sales scope. Build trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, security leaders, and other executive stakeholders. Lead discovery conversations that establish customer needs, buying processes, budgets, and decision criteria. Coordinate technical briefings, demonstrations, evaluations, and proposals with product and delivery teams. Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement, and legal review. Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, realistic forecasts, and clear next steps. Develop partner relationships and referrals that create qualified opportunities. Align proposals and customer commitments with validated capabilities and delivery capacity.
Qualifications: A demonstrated record of closing enterprise cybersecurity or complex technology sales. Experience generating your own pipeline and converting executive relationships into business. Established relationships with relevant enterprise buyers and the ability to build new ones. Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to explain technical capabilities in terms of business risk, operational needs, and investment priorities. Experience navigating enterprise procurement, negotiations, and extended sales cycles. Consistent discipline in qualification, forecasting, CRM use, and follow-through. Confidence working independently within a distributed team. Familiarity with cryptography or post-quantum security is valuable; curiosity and the ability to learn the portfolio are essential. Willingness to travel periodically for client meetings and industry events.
Compensation: This role is commission-only until the first sale. Candidates should be comfortable developing initial business without a base salary during that period. Commission rates, payment timing, the qualifying first-sale milestone, and the compensation structure following that milestone will be set out in a written agreement before engagement.
How to Apply: Share your enterprise sales background, examples of business you have personally originated and closed, and the industries or buyer relationships where you can make the strongest contribution. Please confirm that you understand and are comfortable with the initial commission-only structure.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
