- Heavy Work: Exert up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.
- Frequent activities: Walking, standing, climbing, stooping, crouching, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.
- Manual dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, typing, and operating tools.
- Sensory abilities: Talking, hearing, & vision sufficient for detailed inspection, safe operation of tools, machinery, and vehicles.
- Work Environment
- Work is performed primarily in a shop setting both indoors and outdoors. Conditions may include exposure to:
- Non-climate-controlled environments / Hot/cold temperature changes
- Dirt, dust, soot, fumes, and other airborne particles
- Moving mechanical parts and electrical equipment
- Chemicals and limited ventilation
- High places, confined spaces, and loud noise
- Proper PPE and adherence to safety protocols are required at all times.
