About the role
- Assist with the disassembly and assembly of electric motors and related components
- Perform coil winding and insulation work under supervision or independently based on experience level
- Clean, prepare, and stage parts for repair and rebuild processes
- Operate basic shop equipment, including grinders, presses, and hand tools
- Conduct basic testing and inspections to ensure product quality and performance
- Read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and safety procedures accurately
- Meet daily production and output goals in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
- Provide support to other departments such as shipping and material handling as needed
- Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments
- Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required
- Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred
- Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Associate
- Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments
