A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible CNC Mill Setup Machinists for the 1st shift. Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our CNC Machinists are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trademore info about us: https://mfg.nytron.aero/careers/Basic Requirements:-Promotes and practices safety in the workplace-Exhibits a positive attitude & is open-minded-Works responsibly & dependably-Possesses exceptional mechanical aptitude-Is detail oriented, precise and makes very few errors-Self motivated and can be productive with little supervision
Technical Skills:
-Capable to setup CNC 3/4/5-Axis CNC mill machines and perform all associated machining operations-Minimum of 5 years’ experience-Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and troubleshoot 3 axis Mills-Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency-Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment-Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws-Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches-Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
Optional:
- Able to carefully prove-out new CNC programs and make minor edits when necessary
- Enjoys the challenge of developing unique setups as necessary to produce ultra-low quantities of precision machined components
- Has experience working with a variety of materials (ie, aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, high-temp alloys, plastics, ect.)Can operate general shop equipment
Education & Experience:
