Position Summary: Arsenal Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant II with a strong background in general accounting functions who is also willing to gain or expand knowledge of Oil and Gas accounting. Full-time hybrid schedule to include work in the Company’s Wexford, PA office.
Duties and Responsibilities: ·      Prepare entries to assist with month end close process·      Complete monthly account reconciliations to assure accuracy of ledger·      Calculation and entry of monthly operated revenue distribution·      Processing of revenue payments as well as support for land and AP payment processing·      Prepare annual property tax filing and track related accruals and payments·      Monthly severance tax filing and payment processing·      Maintenance of vendors and select master files within ERP·      Assist with unclaimed property tracking and correspondence with tax consultants·      Assist with financial reporting·      Compiling data for other regular reporting requirements·      Other duties and projects as assigned by Controller
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements): ·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field·      5 plus years prior accounting experience·      Microsoft Office programs including intermediate or advanced Excel knowledge·      Enertia knowledge preferred·      Oil and Gas accounting experience preferred·      Must be able to interact with all levels of employees within organization including Executive Management. Must also be able to interact with vendors and other members within the industry.·      Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk, ability to bend over and reach above head, ability to lift under 20 pounds, ability to view computer screen for extended periods of time, and ability to type on a keyboard.
