About the role

Inside Sales Representative Everwood Preserving, Inc. has been in the wood treating industry since 1982. We provide pressure treated lumber as well as other lumber products to dealers in AL, MS, LA, and FL. We work to provide top quality service to our customers and take pride in what we do. We are currently looking for an inside sales representative to join the team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and detail oriented that can provide excellent customer service while producing sales. This position will be on site at the Spanish Fort office and will report directly to the Sales Manager.
Essential Duties: Process a high volume of orders and sales data electronically and/or over the phone/email. Answer technical questions of prospective customers and advise customers on products that fit their needs. Estimate lead time and date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules. Builds and maintains customer relationships. Works with sales, production, and transportation teams to meet customers' needs. Investigates and resolves customer service issues as they may arise. Education and/or
Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university; and/or one to two (1-2) years related experience in lumber, building materials, or building supplies industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
