Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician plays a pivotal role in supporting pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications under their supervision. Primarily working within a retail pharmacy setting, the technician ensures accurate prescription handling while maintaining inventory and delivering excellent customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmacy inventory and restock supplies
- Provide customer support and assist with inquiries
- Prepare prescriptions following safety and quality guidelines
- Enter data accurately into pharmacy systems
- Maintain quality control to ensure compliance with regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with medication dispensing
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
