About the role

Overview: Clear Flow Water Filtration is a new and growing local water filtration company in the Southwest Chicago and Southwest Suburbs area. We install whole-home water softeners and reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homeowners. We're looking for a licensed, reliable installer who knows their way around basic plumbing and wants consistent, well-paid work that's scaling fast. This starts as contract/part-time work (1-3 installs per week) with a clear path to full-time W2 as our install volume grows. We're investing heavily in marketing and growing quickly. The right person will have more work than they can handle within a few months. Our goal is to scale to 30+ installs per month within the next 90 days.
Pay: $70.00 - $150.00 per hour (Rate is variable based on installation type) What you'd be doing:
  • Installing 10x54 whole-home water softener/filtration systems
  • Installing under-sink 5-stage reverse osmosis systems (and potentially tankless ones)
  • Basic plumbing tie-ins, testing, and cleanup
  • Being professional and friendly with homeowners during installs
  • Getting Google reviews after job is done (extra $$)
  • Typical install takes 3-4 hours What we need:
  • Plumbing experience (licensed)
  • Your own tools and reliable transportation
  • Ability to take install jobs with 48-72 hours notice
  • Someone who shows up on time, does clean work, and doesn't cut corners
  • Good with homeowners
What you get:
  • $300-700 per install depending on work needed and experience
  • All systems and equipment provided (tools not provided)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Steady work that's only increasing
  • Get in early with a company that's just getting started and generous
Benefits:
  • Flexible schedule
Work Location: In person

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
