About the role
Material Handler/Yard Worker We're Hiring! Come to work for a great company specializing in iron and metal products to work in the scrap yard assisting customers to unload scrap metal from vehicle and trailers in Aberdeen, SD! If you are a hands-on person who enjoys working outside, this is the job for you!
Job Duties:
Assist customers with unloading their vehicles and trailers. Sort metal by type and store them in appropriate locations of the yard. Use a scale to weight the items and complete a ticket for customers as needed. Prepare metals for various production processes through shredders and shears. You'll be trained in steel processing machinery and equipment such as forklidts, bobcats, and cranes.
Pay:
$18-20/HR Depending on experience Shift: Day; Monday-Friday (Overtime Opportunities)
