About the role
- Lead the specification, development, and validation of manufacturing tests
- Drive test yield improvement and defect reduction through test coverage, data analysis and root cause investigation
- Own test hardware and software from concept through production release and sustaining
- Develop test documentation including test plans and procedures Interface with contract manufacturers and vendors to ensure test capability, scalability, and consistency
- Communicate lessons learned to greater Hardware and partner engineering teams to improve the product and its manufacturability, quality, and reliability. What you'll bring to the table:7+ years of experience in manufacturing or production test engineering
- Strong experience with test design and development
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, TestStand)
- Solid understanding of mechatronic systems
- Experience with statistical analysis, yield monitoring, and SPC tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in a production environment CAD experience and fixture design
