About the role

Jinny's Music Studio is a music-focused space offering tailored music education, an elegant recital space, and professional recording facilities. The studio is outfitted with high-end equipment — a Steinway Model B piano, Neumann microphones, 4K video, and a Neve/Universal Audio signal chain — to support high-quality audio and video production. Located in a vibrant community setting, Jinny's Music Studio fosters artistic excellence and collaboration among performers, educators, and creatives. As a women- and Asian-owned business, the studio is committed to inclusivity, creativity, and building a supportive community where every musician gets their chance in the spotlight. Our mission is to give musicians and teachers the tools and space to create and record the next generation of music. Role Description We're hiring a Video Producer to create a paid advertising video campaign for Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, and TikTok — built to convert viewers into new studio members. We need someone who has actually made video ads that performed — real view counts, real engagement, ads that stopped the scroll — and can bring that same instinct to showcase our space, our teaching, and our recording facility. You'll scope the concept, direct and shoot on-site in San Jose, and deliver a finished ad cut for each platform's format and audience. One or more hero advertising video, edited into platform-specific cuts for Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, and TikTok (aspect ratios and length per platform best practice) Motion graphics/titles as needed to support the promotional message Color-graded, fully mixed final exports, ready to traffic Qualifications Required: a portfolio or reel demonstrating video ads you've produced that performed — please include view/engagement numbers or campaign results with your application. This is the single most important qualification for this role. Strong video production and post-production skills, with experience managing a full production workflow start to finish Skilled in color grading, audio syncing, and multi-format export Comfortable creating and integrating motion graphics for educational and promotional content Experience working with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment in performance or studio environments Proficient in industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage the project to a deadline Clear communicator, comfortable directing artists, educators, and studio staff on camera Background or interest in music — classical or performance-based work especially — is a strong plus Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or equivalent professional experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
