Senior Account Executive, Dealership Accounting
Fully Remote or, if preferred, hybrid to Kirkland, WA
Work that’s interesting and actually matters to customers. Bring your thinking cap.
Ownership & Accountability
You’ll own work end to end, with a voice in the what and the how, and be trusted to make high-impact decisions
A High Bar
Every hire will raise the bar. You’ll lead by example, influence, and improve those around you.
About the role:
Veramatic is rebuilding its go-to-market engine under new sales leadership, and this is a ground-floor seat on that rebuild. We’re looking for a true SaaS seller: someone who knows exactly how each of their deals came together and why. You’ll sell into dealership controllers, GMs, and CFOs, the same back-office buyers who are buried under manual processes that get the job done but don’t scale. With demand generation and a business development team now feeding qualified pipeline, this seat is weighted toward running sharp discovery, building the business case, closing, and growing the accounts you land.
What You’ll Do: Run discovery like a diagnostic:
get the controller or CFO to recognize the cost of their current process themselves, before you propose a solution
Build the business case and close:
quantify the pain in dollars and hours, handle objections from the controller, CFO, and dealer principal, own the deal start to finish
Grow what you land:
carry real expansion quota, multi-thread into other rooftops, identify upsell and cross-sell, keep growing accounts after the ink is dry
Simplify complexity:
explain a technical, workflow-heavy product in language an operational buyer immediately understands
Supplement the pipeline:
add your own targeted outreach on your highest-value accounts and warm referrals, alongside BDR-sourced pipeline
Escalate account risk immediately:
loop in Customer Success the moment a customer raises a cancellation or a real concern
How you’ll spend your time
20%
prospecting and pipeline supplementation on your own named accounts
50%
discovery, demos, and deal cycles through close
30%
expansion and account growth on existing logos
How we’ll measure success
Quota attainment, win rate, average deal size, and sales cycle length
New-logo-versus-expansion mix, with real weight on expansion ARR and multi-rooftop growth
30 days:
learn the product, the territory, and the BDR hand-off process
60 days:
run discovery and demos solo, working a live book of qualified opportunities
90 days:
closing new logo deals and identifying real expansion opportunities in your accounts
What we’re looking for:
10+ years of SaaS Account Executive experience, with a provable track record in discovery, business-case building, and closing
Genuine account-growth or expansion experience, not just new-logo hunting
Experience selling into a back-office or operational buyer (a controller, GM, or CFO)
Can speak to your own quota attainment, win rate, and expansion numbers cold, without checking notes
Comfortable working a BDR hand-off process, while still supplementing it with your own outreach on high-value accounts
Coachable in a way that shows up as changed behavior, and quick to own your results, good and bad
What we’ll teach
Veramatic’s product and the dealership-accounting domain specifically
Prior automotive or accounting-software experience is a plus, not a requirement
On-target earnings:
$200,000-$250,000
Benefits:
flexible remote work, medical, dental, and vision, short and long-term disability, unlimited PTO, and a paid holiday program
Why Veramatic
The accounting is specialized. The technology should be, too. Veramatic automates the repeatable reconciliation work between source information and the DMS, so accounting teams spend less time processing numbers and more time using them, without losing the judgment only an experienced controller brings.
We’re a fully remote company building our go-to-market team with new sales leadership, real customers (roughly 600 dealership rooftops today), and deep industry roots. Whoever takes this seat gets real ownership of closing and growing a book of business, backed by a real demand gen and BDR motion rather than building pipeline alone. We’re building a culture around accountability, coaching, curiosity, and people who create business rather than wait for it. The playbook is still being written, and we want someone who wants to help write it.
Veramatic is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
